How do I claim my home on Zoopla?

If you are a home owner, you can claim ownership of your house by confirming your address on Zoopla. By claiming your home, you're able to take control of the details that are featured.
If you've made any home improvements, you can edit and enhance your homes details and features, as well as edit the precise location and upload photos.

How do I claim my home?

  1. Go to www.zoopla.co.uk and click Sign in
  2. Enter your email address and password. Click Sign in
  3. Hover over My Zoopla and click Settings
  4. You can either click Claim your home from within the Overview tab, or, click the My content tab
    (If accessed from My content, click Learn more about Claiming homes on Zoopla
  5. Type your postcode in the Enter postcode field. Click Locate address 
  6. Select your property from the Properties drop-down field. Click Confirm address
  7. Confirm your Contact name, type the verification code into the field, and tick the box to confirm you are the owner of the home and that you accept the Zoopla terms
  8. Click Confirm identity

When you have claimed your home, you are presented with an overview screen that outlines the Zoopla Estimate for your home, as well as the ability to check and compare mortgage rates, Add features or Upload photos

My home

Regardless of whether you have a Zoopla account and are signed in or not, you can still claim your home. My home allows you to check how much your home could be worth, calculate household bills to see if you can save money and compare remortgage lenders.

  1. Go to www.zoopla.co.uk
  2. Click My home from the navigation bar
  3. Type your postcode in the Enter postcode field. Click Locate address 
  4. Select your address from the Properties drop-down field. Click Select address
  5. In the Welcome to My Home popup window, click either Owner, Landlord or Tenant

You are presented with the My home screen. My home outlines:

  • Your Zoopla Estimate - As well as a Price estimate, you can also compare the change in your estimate over time. You can easily Book a free agent valuation for your home if necessary too
  • Household bills - This shows an estimated monthly breakdown of costs for your home that takes into account Mortgage, Energy, Broadband and Council tax costings. Each costing includes a range of relevant deals
  • Sales history - This shows sold prices for your home provided by Land Registry 
  • Image history - This shows any images of the property
  • The area - This shows the location of your home on a map and details nearby Local Amenities. A description of the location is also provided that details the number of properties in the street or area, the average property value, and the number of property sales
