When searching for sales properties on Zoopla, you can filter on specific features or types to really tailor the results and see the properties that are best for you.
Note
If the property type you are searching for is not available in that area, the option will not be listed
- Go to www.zoopla.co.uk
- Hover over For sale
- Click UK property for sale
- Type in your search area and basic search criteria, i.e. Min price and Max price, Property type and the number of Bedrooms
- You can apply Advanced search options here, e.g. Keywords
- Click Search
- On your list of suitable properties, click Filter results
- To search for specific property types, click Property type and tick the property types accordingly. For bungalows, tick Houses, and then Bungalow
- To search for specific property must-have features, click Must-haves and tick the options accordingly
- If you haven't already, use the Keywords box to tailor your results.
Search for single words by typing them in, comma separated, e.g. garage, garden, bath.
Search for phrases by adding quotations marks, e.g. "wood floors"- To search for properties recently added to Zoopla, click Added to site and select the appropriate timeframe
- Click New or pre-owned homes and select if you want to view New homes, Pre-owned homes or Retirement homes
- Click Buying options and select if you want to view properties up for Auction, Shared ownership properties or those eligible for Help to buy
- To search for properties with a specific status, click Property status and select accordingly, i.e. Chain-free, Price-reduced, Under offer / Sold STC
- Click Update results
- The screen automatically refreshes to show the updated results
- From the top right of your search results, you can click Create email alert, Save this search, start a Travel time search or Draw your search
- Open the Zoopla Android app
- Tap Search in the app navigation bar
- Ensure the department is set to For sale
- Add in your search location
- You can use your phones current location to focus your search or add in a postcode, area, or street
- Tap the appropriate, suggested location
- Tap the relevant options to refine your search criteria and tailor your for sale searches.
Property type allows you to search for specific property types. Multiples can be chosen, tap on all options that are applicable - Scroll down and type your keywords into the Keywords box.

- Set the number of Bedrooms and tap Confirm when done
- Drag the slider to set the search radius Distance
- To search for properties recently added to Zoopla, tap Added and select the appropriate timeframe. Tap Confirm when done
- Tap See results
- From your search results, you can tap Save to save your results

You can only search using property Features on the desktop website, not the app, so use Keywords to narrow search results on the app
