How do I set up tracked postcodes?

Within your Email preferences, there is a My Locations section. This is where you can set up tracked postcodes to keep up to date with the property market in an area of your choice. It enables you to receive email updates at a frequency of your choice, on the latest market values, recent sales and more. 

Tracked postcodes are easy to set up and add, there is no limit to how many you can create, and you can update or remove them at any time.

To set up a tracked postcode:

  1. Visit
  2. Click Sign in
  3. Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
  4. Click Account
  5. Click Settings
  6. Click Email preferences
  7. Scroll down to the My Locations section, and in the Set up new area updates field, enter the postcode of the area you want to receive area updates on
  8. Click Add

If you want to update or remove your tracked postcode(s), click the x next to the postcode. Any changes you make will take effect immediately.


As well as tracking postcodes to get a more personalised Zoopla experience, you can create a more specific email alert for UK For sale and To rent homes.

You can also track properties which helps you keep up to date with homes you are interested in. You can easily find our Zoopla estimate (where we have one for a property) to see what a home is worth, and view a Property timeline to look at it's history including historical sale and listing events. Tracked properties can be accessed from within the Saved tab on the main navigation bar
