What are historic listings and can they be removed?

What is a historical listing?

Historic listings are archived listings which have been provided to us by estate agents and then moved to the House prices section under the Sales history heading on a property's details page, once the live listing has been marked as sold/let by the marketing agent and archived.

What do I do if I want this information removed?

The complete historical information can be removed (this includes all photos and descriptions). All you need to do is send a request to our dedicated Customer Support Team via the following form: https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/requests/new

The history will be removed within 48 hours of us responding to you.

I have another property's history attached to my property, how did this happen?

Sometimes an error can occur when another properties historic listing is incorrectly linked to a different properties details. This happens because of a mismatch of address data. If you believe this has happened to your property, please contact our Customer Support Team. You can either email help@zoopla.co.uk, or, click Submit a request below and complete the contact form, and they will remove the information within 48 hours.

Can I keep the pictures but remove the description?

Unfortunately, as the listing has been provided to us via an estate agent, we are unable to alter the information that has been uploaded by them. However, the historical listing can be removed as a whole. We cannot keep pictures uploaded without the description and vice versa.

Can you send me a copy of my historical listing?

As this information has been provided to us by the marketing agent, we are not the copyright holder and therefore do not have the rights to distribute the listing. However, you may get in touch with the marketing agent who was advertising the property on our portal at the time and ask them for further information regarding the old advert and the pictures.
