The Property Details Page as outlined here, is accessed from the House prices section. Every one of the UK’s 30 million homes has a Property Details Page and it has been designed to ensure you can view the most valuable information about a property, quickly and easily.
What are property attributes?
Within My Home, and on a Property Details Page and the House Prices search results page, the property attributes indicate the:
- Number of beds, bathrooms and reception areas in a home
- Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) letter rating
- Property type, and
- Tenure
Property attribute data comes from a variety of sources including:
- HM Land Registry
- Registers of Scotland
- Live For sale and To rent property listings on Zoopla
- The Government’s EPC dataset via Hometrack, and
- RICS certified surveyors data (subject to the availability)
If your home is currently listed on Zoopla (For sale or To rent by a marketing agent), you can expect to see your property attributes (and estimate details) updated in a few months time, when we receive our new data.
EPC

This service is provided by the Government - more information is available here.
- How up to date is this data?
This data tends to be updated 2-4 times a year - more information can be found here.
- How can I update my EPC rating if I have recently made renovations to my property?
You can get in touch with an assessor via the Gov.uk site dedicated to energy certificates.
Can I edit my property attributes and property details?
If you're the legal homeowner of a property, you're able to edit the property details via My Home.
The property details you can edit include the property type and number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and reception rooms that your home has.
- Visit www.zoopla.co.uk
- Click My Home on the main navigation bar
- Type your full postcode and click Search
- From the dropdown menu, click on your Address
- Confirm whether you have a mortgage on this property or not, and if so when it ends
- Click Next step
- If you aren't signed in, enter your login credentials and click Sign in
- Our My Home landing page displays, where you'll enter your unique Property Details Page. The property will start being tracked with the assumption your relationship is the Homeowner.
Below where the address for your home is shown, if we hold some details for the property already, click Edit. If we don't hold details for the property, click Add property details
- Use the fields to update your property details including the Property type, number of Bedrooms, Bathrooms, and Reception rooms for your home
- Using the dropdown, select a reason as to why you're updating these details now
- Using the dropdown, select what the main reason is for editing your property details
- Select Yes or No as to whether you're considering selling your home in the next 12 months
- Tick to confirm that you're the homeowner, that editing these details will not currently impact your Zoopla estimate, that the details you're editing relate to the property not yourself, and, that you won't be able to change these details again for 90 days
- Click Save changes
The edited property type, bedrooms, bathrooms and reception rooms will now show in My Home and on the Property Details Page (accessed from the House prices section) on the website. Eventually they will show everywhere on our website and app where we list a property.
Note
- Editing your property details will not currently impact your Zoopla estimate, and we're unable to give a specific timeframe as to when they will
- If you're the legal homeowner, you can only edit these details once every 90 days. This is so we can ensure that our data remains high quality.
However, upon your request and in exceptional circumstances, we will consider changing the details for you sooner
If you believe there is an inconsistency in the current estimate for your home, there are individual cases where we can suppress your current estimate from displaying on our live website.
As our estimates are based on publicly available data, we don't tend to remove estimates on individual properties.

If any sold price data we show appears to be incorrect, please let us know so we can look into this further. Should you wish to dispute the availability of sold price information in the public domain, we suggest that you contact HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland directly. Unfortunately, we're unable to amend or delete this information ourselves from the database.
