Agents who advertise on Zoopla
All our agents are vetted and are required to be registered with a redress scheme. A redress scheme is a government approved independent organisation that works to resolve disputes between estate agents and consumers.
There are currently two schemes The Property Ombudsman and the Property Redress Scheme; you can check this by searching for their members on their websites.
There are, however, still situations in which things could go wrong and unauthorised content could be displayed on our website.

Bad actors posing as Zoopla
If you ever come across a property advert on any other website (or offline) that says it is being marketed by ‘Zoopla‘ or a company using a similar name (for example, Zoopla Property Services), then it will not be genuine or from us.
Zoopla are not involved in any part of the property transaction once you have connected with a property professional on our website. We will never facilitate viewings, payments for deposits, rent or other elements of the property transaction.

We advise that you:
- Stop any engagement with the user
- Contact the national fraud and internet crime reporting centre, Action Fraud, as soon as possible
- Contact our Customer Support team. Click Chat below to get help from our virtual assistant, who can escalate your query if needed. We may ask you to forward any e-mails from the individual(s) to us as well, to help aid our investigation. Where necessary, our Compliance team will investigate further.
