Searching for properties on Zoopla is easy, with properties divided into For sale and To rent, encompassing New homes, Commercial and Overseas.*
Each department can be searched within, the search results saved, properties added to your Saved properties list and also shared with friends and family members or on social media too.
- Visit www.zoopla.co.uk
- Click your desired department; For Sale or To rent
- If you scroll down, you can also click to search for New homes, Shared ownership, Commercial property for sale, Commercial property to rent or Overseas property for sale
- Type in your Search area and basic search criteria, i.e. the number of Bedrooms, Max price and Property type
- Click Search
- Click Filters if you wish to further refine your search
- Click Bedrooms if you want to specify a minimum and maximum number of bedrooms
- Click Price if you want to specify a minimum and maximum price
- To search for specific property types, click Property type and tick the property types accordingly
- To Include, exclude & show only search results for New homes, Retirement homes, Shared ownership and Auction, select the options accordingly
- To search for specific property must-have features, click Must-haves and tick the options accordingly
- To search for properties with a specific status, click Property status and select accordingly, i.e. Help to buy, Chain-free, Price-reduced, Under offer / Sold STC
- To search for properties recently added to Zoopla, click Added to site and select the appropriate timeframe
- Use the Keywords box to tailor your results.
Search for single words by typing them in, comma separated, e.g. garage, garden, bath.
Search for phrases by adding quotations marks, e.g. "wood floors". You can exclude terms too by prefixing them with '-' e.g. -student, -detached, -pets, etc. - Click Update results
- The screen automatically refreshes to show the updated results
- From the top right of your search results, you can click Create email alert, Save this search, start a Travel time search or Draw your search
- Scroll down to view properties that match your search criteria, and for any of interest, click on the property to view it in more detail

- Open the Zoopla app on your preferred device
- Tap Search in the app navigation bar
- Tap the search bar and add in your search location or postcode
- Alternatively, you can use your phones current location to focus your search or,
- Tap on one of your Recent locations
- Tap your desired department; For sale or To rent
- Tap the relevant options to refine your search criteria
- Search radius allows you to set the search distance from your specified location or postcode
- Set the minimum and maximum number of Bedrooms
- Set the minimum and maximum Price range
- To search for properties recently added to Zoopla, tap Date added and select the appropriate timeframe
- Toggle whether you want your search to contain New build homes only or not
- Select the relevant Property types. Multiples can be chosen, tap on all options that are applicable
- The Include section enables you to filter on more specific criteria, e.g. Shared ownership, Retirement homes, Auction properties, those Under offer or Sold STC, as well as New build homes
- Use the Keywords box to tailor your results.
